Tutu

In 2020, fuelled by my deep passion for crafting dancewear, I made the decision to enrol in a tutu-making short course at Nottingham Trent University. Over the course of four days, I immersed myself in the intricate art of constructing tutus for professional dance. It was an enriching experience where I acquired numerous skills and successfully completed my tutu with a bodice within the allotted time frame. While the skirts were required to be made from white netting provided by the instructor, we had the freedom to select a colour for our bodices. I opted for black, enhancing the design by incorporating a white lace trim onto the bodice. I find great satisfaction in investing my time and energy into courses that align with my interests, knowing that the knowledge gained can be applied to future projects.
